Damn, I’m seriously fucking with this tape right now. Just released today over at XXL, this 10 track cover-tape by Elzhi is really good. Elzhi pays homage to Nas’ Illmatic with his own take on tracks such as ‘N.Y. State Of Mind’, ‘The World Is Yours’, and ‘One Love’. The Detroit emcee does the original justice, putting his own spin on tracks while still maintaining that tried and true East Coast flavour. Listen in below.
