I’ve been away from the internet way too long to even fathom catching up on everything that happened. The weekend was eventful for myself but I still got around to posting #FreshFridays and a review on Jay Electronica’s concert in Toronto. The week ahead is full of so much promise I can hardly breath just thinking about. Lots of original content on the horizon along with March Madness, St. Patrick’s Day and possibly attending a Laidback Luke concert. Shit’s looking trill. And make sure to join the Tournament Challenge group I made over at ESPN so I can run show. Okay below is a bunch of things that materialized over the last few days, the weekend was good for music.
Absolutely huge set for this week’s #FreshFridays. If you haven’t guessed by now, there’s remix from Miami Horror plus bangers from Mac Miller, STAR-KILLA and more. My current favourite out of the lot is Villa’s remix of Promised Land. Massive. Make sure to check out that track along with the rest after the break. It’s Friday people, live it up.
Third part in the series and we’re not slowing down. Last week’s post blew the roof, so expectations are high going in. I’m super confident that what I cooked up will suffice though. This week’s post features a Bassnectar remix that’s been blowing up the internet this week along with tracks and remixes from Weezy, Kids At The Bar, Nicki Minaj, and more. Songs below plus more on the other side. Happy Friday.
The Limousines – Internet Killed The Video Star (Kids At The Bar Remix)
Wanted to bring some attention to Rockwell off the top, who has been tearing up the local scene in Toronto for a minute now. Through his melodic and creative remix work along with some original material of his own, Rockwell’s got the skills. I’ve been grooving out to some of his SoundCloud tracks for a couple of weeks now and have been dying to post, so here we finally are. Check out the tracks below plus some Wiz, Villa, Vodka & Milk, Hoodie Allen, Tits & Clits after the break. Happy Friday.
I owe a special thanks to a certain person for somewhat giving me the idea to start this, but I’d like to think that it was my own creativity. Anyways, Fresh Fridays every Friday, new jams and tunes to get you through the weekend, deal? Alright, here we go.
Kinda of a weird start here, but something motivated Gigamesh to go in over the Double Rainbow guy. If you haven’t seen this video yet, then I don’t know what to say about you. Tracks below and it’s not half bad so check it.

DJ Kue to the rescue once again. Fuck, no more rhyming stuff.
DJ Kue – Don’t Hold It Against Me
Haven’t been listening to much of these guys in a while, but that could change if they keeping making tracks like this one. I’m going to go ahead and call it chicago hip hop, Kanye’s impact has been that big.
