If you happened to watch til the end of Chidera’s nine hour plus freestyle at the O Music Awards, you would have got an early taste of this track. Now released in all its glory, here’s ‘Mind Your Manners’ from Chiddy Bang’s upcoming debut LP Breakfast.

Download, sampler and tracklist underneath. Goodies after the jump.
It’s late Friday so this playlist is a little tardy, apologies. However, the tunes should more than make up for the delay. I’m heading down to Wobble tomorrow night for some dubstep action, so I thought I’d highlight the acts making an appearance. Toronto’s Trypt will be playing, along with Montreal gunners Adventure Club and The SoniXx, and New Zealand legend Mt. Eden. Check the audio below and reach Sound Academy if you’re craving more womp womp! Follow SpacePack on Twitter!

Mt. Eden – Still Alive

NEW Kendrick Lamar, off his upcoming album. “Hol’ Up” provides more of the same fire that Lamar’s been throwing at us of late (see ‘HiiiPoWer’ and ‘Sex With Society’). This album WILL be one of the must have hip hop albums of the year, no doubt. #Section80 July 2nd.
Here’s an unreleased track that was supposed to be on Cudi’s debut studio album. The track was to feature Cudi and Clipse for what would have been a dynamite collab had things panned out.
Also, funny story. At work the other day, I overheard a group of 40-something couples talking about music and concerts that they’re going to. Apparently one couple was venturing down to Montreal next month to take in Osheaga, with one female piping up when she heard Kid Cudi’s name. “I Love Kid Cuuuddeee!” So there you have it folks, you’re never to old for hip hop or for misprouncing names.
In the famous words of Staind…….. It’s been awhile.
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything on this website but I’m here on this special edition of Thrashing Thursdays to break that dry spell and open the flood gates on some spankin’ tunes that have been burning my ears lately.
This week’s offerings include a MASSIVE banger from Pretty Lights that shows no mercy, a dirty remix of the classic ‘Jump Around’ from Jantsen who dishes out ample wub wub and a genuine ‘get-crunk-to-this’ track from Rico Tubbs featuring some prolific dirty south rappers, nicely sampled guitar hooks and nuff bass. The track from Featurecast here lays down some scratches so so nicely and, like after a typical night at the bar, leaves you wondering Where’s My Money?. Finally, Basic Physics has put together this great mashup that combines Mord Fustang’s “Lick The Rainbow” with Mike Posner’s “Please Don’t Go” and also samples Daft Punk’s “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” (as well as traces of Rick Ross, T.I. and vocal samples from the movie Inception). The Physics blends all these samples into one cohesive mix, A+!
