R.I.P. Gerard Smith

Gerard Smith, member of the sensational band TV On the Radio, passed away last wednesday after a tremendous battle with cancer. The bassist/keyboardist was added to the group in 2005 for their album “Return to Cookie Mountain” and remained an integral part of the band for their overwhelmingly successful record “Dear Science” and their latest release “Nine Types of Light” (released April 12 2011). Understandably, TV On the Radio has cancelled some upcoming shows to deal with the loss of their departed friend – our love is with Gerard’s band mates, family and friends. To honour his memory, listen to some of the great music he had a hand in making.
