A Tribute To Otis

Not enough people today are aware of popular music’s roots. Before computer generated, auto tuned tracks took over the radio, number 1′s were sung by people with talent and charisma. Otis “The Crown Prince of Soul” Redding was one of the best. In his time, Redding’s name was synonymous with rock n roll as he released hit after hit. Unfortunately Otis’ life was cut short in 1967 when he died in a plane crash, he was only 26. A month later, “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay” was released – it would prove to be his biggest hit would forever solidify his place in rock and roll history. Here’s to you Otis, thanks for all the baby making music.
